A complete HUD replacement built from scratch with a clean, modern rounded-card design — status bars, vehicle dash, compass, and even the radio station display are all custom-built, not native GTA UI with a CSS coat of paint.
✨ Features
Player Status
- Health, armor, hunger, thirst, stamina, oxygen, stress, and voice/mic — each its own circular icon badge with a gradient progress pill
- Automatically shows only what your framework/inventory system actually provides — no dead placeholder bars
Vehicle HUD
- Redesigned into a single rounded info card: vehicle name, street, speed, gear, and a live RPM bar
- Fuel and engine health shown as animated radial gauges, color-shifting green → orange → red as they drop
- Compact nos, headlights, and seatbelt status indicators built in
Custom Compass
- Heading, street, and area name in one clean card
- Configurable: always-on or vehicle-only, top/bottom/hidden placement
Fully Custom Radio Display
- Replaces GTA's native radio wheel entirely — both the quick next/prev switch and the hold-to-open wheel are intercepted, so only your custom UI ever shows
- Animated 5-station carousel with the current station highlighted, auto-hides after a few seconds like the original
In-Game HUD Settings Menu
- Every single element can be toggled on/off individually — health, armor, each vertical stat, compass, vehicle card, each vehicle gauge/indicator, radio display
- Drag-and-drop repositioning for every HUD group, right on screen, no config file editing
- Settings save server-side per player and persist across sessions/restarts
- Opens via keybind or
/hudsettingschat command and /togglehud is added to hide them all in one go.
Built-In Seatbelt System
- Configurable ejection speed and vehicle-exit lock while buckled, or disable it and use your own
Compatibility
- Works with ESX, QBCore, ox_core, a custom bridge, or fully standalone (no framework)
- MPH/KPH toggle, optional angled/skewed HUD style
Lightweight
- Built with Preact + Tailwind, ships as a single small JS/CSS bundle — no bloated frameworks
📋 Requirements
⚙️ Configuration
Every behavior above — framework, speed unit, seatbelt logic, compass position, skew style — is a simple toggle in config/shared.lua. No code editing required for day-to-day setup
